CBM Celebrates
Dual Honours
In Sustainability
And National
Service Support
CBM is proud to celebrate two significant achievements that reflect the facility management and property maintenance company’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and contributions to Singapore’s future. CBM is a wholly owned subsidiary of CDL.
CBM Solutions CEO Mr Teo Hwee Yean was recently awarded the Professional Leadership in Sustainability Award at an awards event organised by the Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC) and the Building and Construction Authority (BCA). The award serves as a platform to recognise professionals, organisations and building projects that have demonstrated excellence and leadership in advancing sustainability.
With over 30 years of engineering experience, Mr Teo has led more than 100 sustainability and energy retrofit projects across Singapore. Among his notable achievements was the retrofit of 148 Air Handling Units at Republic Plaza, which delivered significant cost savings, improved energy efficiency and reduced annual carbon emissions by 380 tonnes. This award recognises his leadership and CBM Solutions' commitment to advancing sustainable facilities management practices.
Supporting National Service and Our NSmen
CBM was also honoured with the SAF Day Zone 1 Award in recognition of its continued support for National Service and commitment to creating a workplace that empowers National Servicemen (NSmen) to fulfil their service obligations while building their careers.
Presented at the SAF Day Combined Rededication Ceremony 2026, the award underscores CBM's contribution to Singapore's Total Defence efforts. Head of Human Resources, Mr Gerald Ang, received the award on behalf of the company.
Together, these achievements reflect CBM's dedication to building a sustainable future while supporting the people who contribute to our nation's success.
