CDL Hospitality Trusts (CDLHT) has appointed Ms Seow Bee Lian as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Member of the Audit and Risk Committee, further strengthening the Board's expertise in real estate investment trusts (REITs), corporate finance and fund management.

Ms Cheryl Seow Bee Lian started her 20-year journey at ARA Asset Management Limited (“ARA Group”) in 2003. In her previous role as Assistant Group Chief Executive Officer and Group Chief Financial Officer, she held pivotal responsibilities overseeing the ARA Group’s finance, business division support and projects, legal, and compliance functions. Ms Seow was also a member of the ARA Group’s Business Development Committee and Investment Review Committee. Ms Seow also served as a Non-Executive Director of the managers of ARA US Hospitality Trust until 2024.

Prior to joining ARA Group, Ms Seow founded and managed a boutique consultancy firm that served small and medium enterprises, offering accounting and consultancy services. She also held senior finance positions in various companies listed on Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited, including as Deputy Financial Controller and Company Secretary of L.C. Development Ltd, and roles at Royal Sporting House and Lum Chang Holdings Limited. She began her professional journey at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Singapore in 1988.
 
Ms Seow holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the National University of Singapore and is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.
