CDL’s high standards have earned its 13th consecutive “Quality Excellence Award” at the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) Awards 2025. The accolade honours builders and developers for their commitment to delivering high-quality private residential buildings over the past six years, based on performance, quality systems, best practices, and application in qualifying projects.

CDL has won the award every year since its launch in 2013.

The 592-unit Amber Park showcases CDL's innovative use of prefabrication to accelerate construction without compromising quality. Leveraging digital tools, a structured incentive/disincentive scheme, and robust quality control processes, CDL achieved CONQUAS Band 1 performance, reflecting its commitment to high productivity and superior building standards.

With the Design for Manufacturing and Assembly method, the sky bridges that link the three 21-storey towers were built off-site, then carefully lifted into place. Its builder Unison Construction Pte Ltd says the approach halved construction time from 14 to seven months months, and reduced noise during assembly. Using a steel bridge over a concrete one also helped CDL save nearly 15 per cent in costs.

CDL Group General Manager Mr Chia Ngiang Hong said, “Delivering high-quality outcomes is central to creating lasting value for our stakeholders, and inspires everyone at CDL to continue striving for excellence in every aspect of our work."

In November 2023, CDL’s Amber Park won the Structural Excellence Awards from Singapore Structural Steel Society, for its innovative steel structural engineering which sped up construction while maintaining high quality standards.

The construction of the sky bridges atop Amber Park’s three towers was done through a 3D modelling system to ensure precision during coordination and off-site fabrication of the sky bridge components.
