HLA’s subsidiary, China Yuchai (CYI) has reinforced its market leadership in Mexico with the delivery of its first batch of buses equipped with Yuchai natural gas engines, to Nuevo Leon, a key state and major manufacturing hub in the country’s northeast region.

These buses provide a stable and reliable power source for the upgrading of the local public transportation system. Presently, more than 1,400 buses equipped with Yuchai natural gas engines are in active service across Nuevo Leon, with the total number expected to exceed 2,500 by the end of 2025.

Since entering the Mexican market in 2022, CYI has been steadily expanding its footprint, evolving from a modest presence to becoming a leading supplier of natural gas bus engines in the country. The company’s strong after-sales support and growing nationwide service network have earned it widespread recognition in Nuevo Leon, further strengthening the reputation and value of the Yuchai brand in Mexico.

Shipment of Key Casting Products to Germany

CYI also announced it has begun shipments of 30,000 high-end cylinder head castings from Yuchai Foundry to a German customer, reinforcing its position as a rising global supplier of premium castings.

To meet the stringent technical requirements of the German market, Yuchai Foundry employed special alloys and advanced vermicular iron thermal analysis technology. The production process was closely managed to ensure the castings’ precision, material quality, and performance consistency.
