The Heritage Hotel Manila recently celebrated 31 years of exceptional hospitality, marking the milestone with a series of employee-focused events that honoured the past while embracing the future.

The festivities kicked off with the annual Company Outing and Team Building, held on 5 and 11 June at the scenic Pico De Loro in Nasugbu, Batangas. Employees enjoyed a day of fun, games, and friendly competition through activities like “The Amazing Race,” relay races, and interactive challenges designed to strengthen teamwork and communication.

Afterwards, colleagues relaxed by the pool and beach, enjoyed a sumptuous buffet lunch, and participated in entertaining contests, including the Best Beach Body competition, creating lasting memories and a renewed sense of camaraderie.

On 15 July, the hotel continued its engagement efforts with “Lunch with the General Manager”, a monthly programme that brings representatives from each department together for candid conversations over lunch with General Manager Mr Farid Schoucair. The initiative allows staff to share insights on guest service, suggest improvements, and strengthen connection across teams, reflecting the hotel’s commitment to transparency and continuous improvement.

The celebrations culminated with the Q2 Employees’ Townhall Meeting and 31st Anniversary Service Awards on 8 August. Long-serving employees were recognised for their loyalty and contributions, while outstanding team members were named Model Employees of the Quarter, exemplifying the dedication and professionalism that define The Heritage Hotel Manila. The event also coincided with Mr Schoucair’s birthday, adding to the joyful occasion.
