The world’s only Beatles-inspired hotel, Hard Days Night Hotel in Liverpool, has unveiled North Sixty4, a new-look restaurant and identity following a six-month £87k transformation.
Named after its location and the famous Beatles song, “When I’m Sixty Four”, the refurbishment is also the first since the hotel opened in 2008.
The new space has been designed to ensure the restaurant can capture more non-resident trade under the leadership of general manager Liam Baker-Bellew. The 98-seater restaurant has also been updated with chandelier-style light fittings, marble-feel tables and faux-leather chairs in rich autumnal colours of reds and golds.
“We felt that the restaurant needed to reflect more of the city, its warmth, charm and personality as well as, of course, The Beatles,” said Mr Alfie Abbott, Business Development Manager at Hard Days Night Hotel.
“We wanted to offer something for everyone and all ages, with an atmosphere that lends itself to a really nice, casual style of dining with elements of fine dining, not least in terms of top-notch service and beautiful surroundings, and local staff who know everything about the menu, the food and the history of where we are. We also don’t want people to have to break the bank to come to us but can come and spend just shy of £20 and have a really great night,” he added.
Hard Days Night hotel opened in 2008 and was acquired in 2015 by Millennum Hotels and Resorts.
