Mr Faiz Alam has joined M Social Singapore and Studio M Hotel Singapore as Cluster Hotel Manager, effective 1 August 2025.  Reporting to MHR Vice President of Asia, his responsibilities are to lead and drive the overall performance of both properties in Singapore.

A seasoned hotelier with over 30 years of experience, Mr Alam brings with him a strong track record across both local and international markets. He began his hospitality journey with iconic Singapore properties such as Raffles Hotel and Goodwood Park Hotel. He held leadership positions at properties hotels including Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur, Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel & Convention Center, Aloft Bengaluru Cessna Business Park, and was the pre-opening General Manager for the latter two properties. He was most recently Hotel Manager of Aloft Singapore Novena, where he led the pre-opening and transition of the former Ramada and Days Hotels (under Wyndham Hotels) to Aloft Singapore Novena under the Marriott portfolio.

Mr Alam has received multiple industry accolades, including General Manager of the Year 2016 for Asia Pacific (including China) with Marriott International, and General Manager of the Year 2015 for South Asia with Starwood Hotels & Resorts. He is also a certified Six Sigma Green Belt and a trained hospitality coach.

Ms Jacqueline Ho who has been with the Millennium Hotels and Resorts group for more than 16 years, has resigned from her role as Cluster General Manager to pursue other interests. We wish her the best in her future endeavours.
