CDL has recently achieved the Excellence Award at this year’s People's Association Community Spirit Awards.

The recognition is a meaningful testament to CDL’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, where social outreach is deeply embedded in its culture.

“This award inspires us to continue our efforts in the North West Service Weeks @ Limbang, providing fresh food for the residents, bringing year-end festive cheers to the children and supporting Green Bootcamp @ North West,” said Ms Foo Chui Mui, CDL's Head of Customer Service and President of City Sunshine Club, the company’s employee volunteer platform.

City Sunshine Club (CSC) was set up in 1999 to nurture the spirit of staff volunteerism and extend CDL’s charity outreach efforts to uplift the wellbeing of the less fortunate.

Through CSC, CDL has been a corporate partner of North West Community Development Council’s (NWCDC) outreach initiatives since 2012 and befriending the residents of Limbang since 2015.

The developer has also received numerous awards from People’s Association for its significant charitable contributions and caring outreach over the years.
