On 29 August 2025, Millennium Hotels and Resorts (MHR) hosted its Annual Charity Dinner at Orchard Hotel Singapore, in partnership with Community Chest. The evening brought together vendors, partners, and supporters in a meaningful celebration, united by a shared commitment to uplifting vulnerable communities in Singapore. The event welcomed around 800 attendees and was made possible with the generous support of 108 vendors and companies who sponsored tables for this special occasion.
The event raised an impressive $530,000, with an additional $5,783 contributed live during dinner. In line with the company’s commitment to accountability and impact, 100 per cent of the proceeds will go directly to Community Chest to fund essential programmes that support those in need.

The dinner also marked the official launch of MHR’s renewed three-year partnership with Community Chest. As part of this partnership, MHR pledged S$1 million from 2025 to 2027 to support more than 200 programmes for underprivileged children and youth at risk. This renewed commitment is a cornerstone of MHR’s 30th anniversary celebrations, underscoring its dedication to building a more inclusive and compassionate society.
The evening opened with inspiring addresses by MHR Executive Director Mr Kwek Eik Sheng and Vice Chairman of Community Chest Mr Danny Koh. Guests were treated to moving performances that celebrated resilience and talent, including special appearances by two young performers from APSN, a social service agency that provides special education, vocational training and employment support services for individuals with mild intellectual disability.

The event was made possible with the generous support of MHR’s valued vendors, partners, and friends.
The Annual Charity Dinner was more than a celebration of MHR’s milestone year. It was a testament to the extraordinary impact that can be achieved when compassion, community, and commitment come together. As MHR looks ahead to the next chapter, it does so with renewed purpose, continuing to extend the spirit of hospitality beyond its hotels to touch lives and strengthen communities.
