Frontliners

Over the Philippines’ Independence Day in June, The Heritage Hotel Manila celebrated by giving back to local government frontliners. The hotel team prepared and delivered packed meals for the hardworking volunteers at the Pasay City Giga Vaccination Centre.

Some 100 meal boxes were given away on 12 June and 3 July, as a way of thanking the volunteers and frontliners for their efforts behind #VacctotheFuture, a vaccination initiative by Pasay City, where The Heritage Hotel Manila is located in. Through this initiative, all those living and working within Pasay City, The Heritage Hotel Manila employees included, were able to get vaccinated at the Pasay city Giga Vaccination Centre.


Some 100 packed meals, or MOM, short for ‘Meals for Off-site Meetings’, were donated to the frontliners.

The vaccination drive for hotel employees started in June. As of August, 91% of staff have been vaccinated, with 84% fully vaccinated and 7% waiting for their second dose.
