It was a month of exciting summer fun for families at Beijing Riviera!

The Migrant Children Foundation in Beijing teamed up with the Riviera Country Club to bring the community its first summer festival. At the East Lake Garden, food stations were set up, selling delicious sweet and savouries. The area was also dotted with game and activity stalls, such as face painting, a bouncy castle, and even a magical science show that saw laughter and cheers of both children and adults when the science experiments went successfully!

An array of delicious food by Riviera Country Club was on sale at the festival, including festival classics such as burgers, hotdogs and French fries.

Over at the Riviera lobby, the space was filled with vendors selling a wide range of products, from accessories and jewellery, to books and electronics, and homeware.

All proceeds from the summer festival went towards supporting the Migrant Children Foundation, a non-profit and non-religious organisation that seeks to provide a platform for disadvantaged children to develop and enhance their knowledge. In total, the summer festival raised RMB 8,000.

At the Riviera lobby, a bazaar was ongoing, retailing a variety of items such from accessories to homeware.

Beijing Riviera also held a summer camp with Rising Stars Tennis Club, which resulted in elated children and rested parents. Though the club focuses on tennis, the summer camp had an array of activities, both fun and educational. Some 15 children got the opportunity not just to hone their tennis talents, but also try their hand at archery, practice swimming, and have a go at science experiments such as making their own rockets and snow.
