Summer Luncheon

International gastronomic association La Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs held its summer luncheon at Millennium Airport Dubai’s Italian restaurant Da Vinci’s. Association members from around the world started their afternoon with a welcome reception and a musical duet performance. It was followed by the luncheon, where Da Vinci chefs prepared an innovative menu that took diners on a culinary journey across Italy. Dishes included branzino con pelle croccante (sea bass with crispy skin) and caramelle di ossobuco (braised veal stuffed in a pasta shapes resembling double twist candy).

The association has its written history tracing back to 1248 in the time of King Louis IX of France. Today, it is headquartered in France, and has nearly 25,000 professional and amateur members from 80 countries.
