For this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival, Yan Ting at The St. Regis Singapore welcomes an exquisite mooncake collection of traditional baked favourites and mini snow skin treats, handcrafted to perfection by the restaurant’s Dim Sum and Pastry Chef Vanness Chai.
Debuting this year is Chendol Paste with Melon Seeds. Wrapped in a visually appealing jade-marbled skin, the locally inspired chendol mooncake features a robustly flavoured lotus paste, tasting of aromatic coconut and gula melaka, finished with bits of melon seeds for a final crunch. Also new to the collection is the Taro Paste with Salted Egg Yolk Truffle and Almond Flakes Snow Skin Mooncake, balancing the sweetness of the taro with the saltiness of the egg yolk, resulting in a delightful marriage of sweet and savoury flavours.
