King of Saudi Arabia, Salman bin Adulaziz Al Saud, invited 5,000 guests from 83 countries to Makkah for the Hajj pilgrimage, where they were hosted at the newly opened Millennium and Copthorne Makkah Al Naseem. The specially invited guests include family members of victims of the Al Noor Mosque terrorist shooting in Christchurch, New Zealand.

The guests stayed for two weeks in August at the two hotels for the Hajj, an Islamic pilgrimage to Makkah in Saudi Arabi, the holiest city for Muslims. It is also one of the five pillars of Islam.

Indian guests were welcomed at the hotel by representatives of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs.
