Indonesia celebrated its 72nd year of Independence on August 17. Millennium Hotel Sirih Jakarta commemorated the big day by holding a flag ceremony attended by all hotel staff and management at the hotel lobby. Lead by Endi Boston Sitompul, Financial Controller, the flag ceremony ran solemnly.

After the flag ceremony, the event was continued with employee and family gathering at Java Ballroom. The event was made even merrier with seven contests including a make-up contest for couples, indoor relay race, bottle race, fastest eating noodle, drawing and colouring contests, and the most attractive dance.
All the participants and winners of the contests were given prizes prepared by management of the hotel.
