In celebration of Mexico’s 208th anniversary of independence and the 56 years of diplomatic relations with South Korea, Millennium Seoul Hilton held The Flavours of Mexico, a gastronomic festival that is part of the Mexican embassy’s cultural project.
The festival was held at Café 395 from 13 to 22 September and features Mexican cuisine from Chef Daniel Gonzalez of Fonda Mayora Restaurant in Mexico City.
The festival featured an array of Mexican food such as Bunuebs Yucatecos, fried dough balls from Yucatán, Pescado A La Talla, a traditional grilled fish dish from the Guerrero coast in Mexico, and Flan di Cotija, a caramel dessert made with Cotija cheese from Mexico.
