Following an extensive renovation and rebrand, the 569-room property now stands as a premier lifestyle destination for business and leisure travellers, offering sweeping views of the Hudson River and New York skyline, vibrant social spaces, and next-generation meeting facilities.
Designed by award-winning BHDM Design, the hotel reinterprets the energy and iconic landmarks of Lower Manhattan, from the Charging Bull to The Oculus. Bold, flowing architectural elements, layered curves, and ribbed motifs run throughout the property, reflecting the ambition and resilience of the Financial District.
Mr Kwek Leng Beng, Executive Chairman of MHR, said, “The opening of M Social New York Downtown marks another step forward in Millennium’s transformation journey. Guided by our vision of Growth, Entrepreneurial Spirit, and Transformation (GET), we continue to shape brands that speak to the evolving aspirations of modern travellers. This new addition reflects our confidence in the future of travel and our long-term commitment to building distinctive experiences in the world’s most dynamic cities. As we expand across key global markets, Millennium remains focused on combining creativity with commercial strength to deliver hospitality that is bold, relevant, and future-ready.”
M Social Downtown features 3,550 square feet of event space across six rooms, accommodating up to 160 guests. Equipped with 98-inch 4K displays, advanced conferencing tools, and dynamic lighting, the spaces cater to corporate meetings, social celebrations, and creative gatherings, offering flexibility and innovation in equal measure.
At the heart of the hotel, the lobby functions as Manhattan’s living room, a communal hub for live music, cultural pop-ups, and art showcases. Guests and locals alike can gather, connect, and experience the rhythm of Lower Manhattan.
Two live bands set the stage at the opening of M Social Hotel New York Downtown, bringing energy and rhythm to the celebrations and creating a lively, immersive atmosphere for the esteemed guests.
The hotel’s signature restaurant, Beast & Butterflies, presents modern Spanish tapas with a Manhattan twist. Its convivial atmosphere, inventive cocktails, and carefully curated wines create a destination for intimate dinners and group celebrations alike.
Mr Kwek Eik Sheng, Executive Director of MHR said, “M Social is where design and storytelling meet.
