Beijing Riviera
Beijing Riviera residents got up to tons of fun in recent weeks, ramping up the energy with a dance marathon, and unwinding with a tea ceremony experience.
Some 50 residents got their dancing shoes on as Riviera Country Club held its Riviera Dance Marathon. For four hours, participants got to try different styles of dance such as Bollywood and jazz. While residents were not required to stay for all four hours, many of them stayed for the full duration, keeping up with the different dance styles as a way to keep fit and stay healthy.
Riviera Country Club also teamed up with Aurora Boya International School to organise a tea ceremony experience, bringing a taste of Chinese culture to the residents. They got to learn about the history of tea and its many different varieties from pu’er to white tea, and a tasting session for the different flavours. The experience also included a hands-on calligraphy session, where residents could try out traditional writing with a teacher around to guide them.
