The highly anticipated Macallan Edition No. 5 recently had its launch at New World Millennium Hong Kong. The Edition Series is highly acclaimed amongst collectors, and each year since 2015, a unique selection of casks is handpicked to create a new limited-edition version that exemplifies the diversity of oak casts used in the maturation of Macallan whiskies.

This year’s Edition No. 5 is a fully American oak-matured single malt, showcasing the natural colour of Macallan whisky. The bottle’s label, which features a unique shade of purple, was created in partnership with the Pantone Color Institute™.

The launch was attended by Hong Kong liqueur retailers including Rare & Fine Wines and Chateau Wine & Spirits Group Ltd, and featured an exclusive whisky-pairing dinner featuring an array of whiskies from renowned distilleries around the world.
