GRAND Hotel Palace Rome took part in the second edition of La Vendemmia di Roma, a prestigious event that brings together national and international luxury brands and top wines. The event, whose name means ‘the harvest of Rome’ in Italian, took place from 15 to 20 October in the heart of Rome’s historic city centre.
Retail boutiques, restaurants and luxury hotels in the city provided guests with exclusive experiences that brought together hospitality, shopping, dining, and wine tasting.
Grand Hotel Palace Rome’s Executive Chef Riccardo Zanni created two special menus for the event, featuring exquisite Italian dishes such as galletto livornese alla diavola, limone fermentato e involtino di cavolo viola (spicy Leghorn chicken with fermented lemon and purple cabbage rolls). The dishes were paired with wines from historic winery Castellare di Castellina known for their Chianti wines.
This is the second year that La Vendemmia is held in Rome. The event originated in Via Montenapoleone in Milan, an important street of Milan’s fashion district and also Europe’s most expensive street.
