M HOTEL Singapore celebrated Oktoberfest with Erdinger, the world’s largest wheat beer brewery, at the hotel’s J Bar. The two nights of merriment on 27 September and 3 October saw guests enjoying free-flow Erdinger beer and feasting on a buffet spread.

Guests enjoyed an array of traditional German cuisine such as sauerkraut and bratwurst, and a carving station that served up crispy roasted pork knuckle with apple sauce and roast beef prime ribs with gravy. Servers dressed in folk costumes were also ready to fill up any empty beer mugs in guests’ hands, while J Bar’s live band got the whole pub singing along to popular tunes in celebration of the Bavarian folk festival.

Oktoberfest is a two-week folk festival held annually in Munich, Germany, and has grown to become an international party celebrated around the world, where many gather to indulge, drink and party together.
