Hong Leong Group’s property heavyweights, City Developments Limited (CDL) and Hong Leong Holdings Limited (HLHL) have a total of 15 properties available for virtual viewings.

Since the circuit breaker in Singapore started on 7 April 2020, the Group reported an approximate 30% increase across online traffic views for properties such as CDL’s Boulevard 88, South Beach Residences and The Tapestry, as well as HLHL’s The Avenir, The Jovell and Midwood.

Several buyers have bought units at these developments after viewing virtual tours of showflats and e-collaterals with various technologies such as Virtual 3D Walkthrough. The optimistic response show that mindsets are gradually changing. For example, The Jovell has seen an increase in Zoom meetings indicating an openness and willingness to engage with agents on a virtual platform.

However, the Group’s developers also noted that there is still a number of potential buyers who prefer to follow up with physical viewings so they can touch and see the actual materials and furnishings that are being used. It is important for them to feel the actual space and layout of each unit before a decision can be made.

Both CDL and HLHL’s sales teams will continue to actively engage these buyers and enhance digital marketing efforts by conducting online sales presentations to potential buyers and investors. Sales consultants remain contactable via phone calls, emails and video conferences for all enquiries. For those who are ready to make their purchases, remote assistance with sales is available including the option of courier services for ease of document signing.
