Our hotels around the world had the pleasure of hosting several foreign dignitaries at various events.

Millennium Knickerbocker Chicago was the venue for a town hall session with President of the Republic of Ghana Mr Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. Organised by the Ghana National Council of Chicago and its affiliates, the event saw over 150 Ghanaian from Chicago and neighbouring cities in attendance. The town hall was part of the President’s visit to the United States, where he also visited Massachusetts, and addressed students and the community at Harvard University and University of Chicago.

Malbec World Day is celebrated every year on April 17, commemorating the day Argentina’s wine industry was set to be transformed by then President Mr Domingo Faustino Sarmiento. Malbec vines (a grape variety used to make red wine) were brought into the country and became a signature wine of the South American country.

Millennium Seoul Hilton had the honour of celebrating Malbec World Day with the Embassies of Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador and Dominican Republic.

In Indonesia, Millennium Sirih Jakarta General Manager Mr Manuel Q Mercado welcomed the Mayor of Central Jakarta Dr Bayu Meghantara, M. Si. Dr Bayu was at the hotel attending a luncheon organised by Sarana Jaya, a city-owned developer.
