Fresh Graduates At
Millennium & Copthorne
Middle East

Millennium & Copthorne Hotels, Middle East and Africa (M&C MEA) understands the importance of supporting and developing fresh graduates. The Group aims to attract and develop talented, passionate, and motivated graduates into future leadership positions through supervisory and managerial level work exposure.

Recently M&C MEA hosted three interns who were studying Hospitality at Bethlehem University in Palestine. As a part of the six-month internship programme, the interns underwent the M&C MEA onboarding process, where they received their training plan with the Onboarding Path, and a list of On-Job and Off-Job Training they will receive during the internship period.

Understanding the importance of practical guidance on how to help a college student transition to the working world, the programme provided the interns with informal and formal mentoring from the Properties and Corporate Office. Their development was also regularly followed-up with quarterly report submissions.

During this journey, we saw the interns develop professionally. Besides learning the daily tasks, they were able to experience the importance of managing different situations, adapting to various leadership styles, accepting challenges and feedback, and working effectively with colleagues and supervisors from different cultures and backgrounds.

Julian joined the M&C Middle East soccer club, bonding with colleagues from different departments on the soccer field. This photo was taken during an inter-hotels tournament that took place earlier this year.

The kitchen team also threw Elias a farewell party.
