Orchard Hotel Singapore has appointed My Byron Chong as General Manager, effective 6 April 2018.

Byron brings with him more than two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, having held various appointments with Four Seasons Hotel and Resorts and New World Hotels International. Prior to joining Millennium Hotels and Resorts, he was General Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Tianjin. He has also served as Hotel Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou, Director of Food & Beverage at Four Seasons Resort Maldives Landaa Giraavaru, Four Seasons Hotel Singapore and Four Seasons Resort Maui.

In his new role, Byron will lead and drive overall performance of Orchard Hotel Singapore, reporting to Mr Lee Richards, Vice President of Operations, South East Asia.
