Copthorne Newcastle has raised over £10,000 for Henry Dancer Days, a charity that supports children and youths with primary bone cancer.
The hotel has been supporting the charity since 2014, and has cumulatively raised over £10,000, through a combination of staff initiatives throughout the years and festive party night raffles.
Henry Dancer Days was founded by Ms Jane Nattrass, in memory of her son Henry John Dancer, who passed away from osteosarcoma, a primary bone cancer, when he was 12. The charity supports children and youths who have been diagnosed with primary bone cancer, disbursing grants to families to help with expenses such as transport costs, or to make homes more accessible for their child.
