M Social Hotel Suzhou ushered in the Year of the Horse with two lively and memorable events, each showcasing the hotel’s vibrant culture and adventurous spirit.

The hotel’s annual employee general meeting, themed “Full Power Ahead, Embark on the New Year Together”, brought colleagues from across departments together for reflection, recognition and renewed motivation. General Manager Mr Peter Low opened the event with an inspiring address, reviewing the hotel’s achievements in a challenging market and sharing his aspirations for the year ahead.

Department heads highlighted key milestones from the past year, celebrating teamwork, professionalism and perseverance across the hotel. A lively lucky draw added to the celebratory mood, with prizes ranging from hotel stays to mobile phones, while long service and standout contributions were warmly recognised.

Extending its energetic start to the year, M Social Hotel Suzhou also partnered with Swiss sports brand On Running to host the Jinji Lake Exclusive Run Event on 25 January. Twenty-five participants gathered at the hotel’s co-working space before setting off on a scenic run along Jinji Lake, embracing a fresh momentum to the new year.

Following the run, guests took part in a Song Brocade handcraft session, creating Year of the Horse keepsakes inspired by one of China’s most celebrated textile traditions. The experience blended sport, culture and creativity, reflecting the hotel’s philosophy of integrating lifestyle, design and local heritage.
