Grand Hyatt Taipei is spotlighting its signature “Three Kings, Two Queens” menu at Yun Jin Chinese Restaurant.
The “Three Kings” feature the Signature Peking Duck, Claypot Fish Maw and Chicken Soup, and the famed “Tianlongguo Dumplings” (or Heavenly Dumplings), while the “Two Queens” are wooden bucket tofu pudding and honey sponge cake.
First introduced 11 years ago, the Heavenly Dumplings were created to stand out from typical pork versions, using premium Atlantic cod blended with seafood broth for added umami. Made to order, they are known for their juicy filling and balanced flavour. Prices have risen from NT$44 to NT$77 per dumpling due to ingredient costs and refinements.
The restaurant’s Signature Peking Duck is prepared through a meticulous 24-hour process, while the claypot fish maw and chicken soup is simmered for over 16 hours for a rich, silky broth. Desserts round out the menu with traditional Taiwanese touches.
