Millennium Harbourview Hotel Xiamen marked the arrival of the Year of the Horse with a Chinese New Year Garden Party held on 28 January 2026 at the outdoor poolside lawn on the third floor. The celebration brought together hotel management and employees for an afternoon of appreciation, festivity and togetherness.

Organised to thank employees for their dedication and hard work over the past year, the event provided an opportunity for colleagues to unwind, connect and share in the spirit of the season. The hotel’s management team delivered a warm address, extending New Year greetings and sharing their hopes for the year ahead.

A recognition ceremony followed, honouring employees who had reached 20 years of service as well as recipients of the 2025 Outstanding Employee Awards. The ceremony celebrated commitment and excellence, highlighting the positive impact of role models within the organisation.

Employees also enjoyed a lively programme of activities, including cultural heritage experiences, traditional riddle games and interactive competitions. An afternoon tea station featuring a buffet barbecue added to the festivities, with the hotel’s executive chefs personally grilling a selection of delicacies for the team.

In welcoming the Lunar New Year, the hotel also introduced festive decorations throughout the property. Red lanterns, golden fortune motifs and warm lighting created a celebratory atmosphere, while Year of the Horse installations in the lobby and Spring Festival lanterns in the atrium and restaurants set the tone for joyful reunions and holiday gatherings.
