Jungceylon Shopping Center — City Developments Limited (CDL)'s retail mall in Phuket — was recently recognised with the Excellence Award for Energy Conservation at the Thailand Energy Awards 2025.

This prestigious accolade was presented by Mr Atthapol Rerkpiboon, Minister of Energy of Thailand, and celebrates organisations that demonstrate outstanding achievements in energy conservation and the development of renewable energy initiatives.



An island in Phuket over a hundred years ago was named Jungceylon, it was known for its wealth from international trade and its wealth
of natural beauty. Today, the name is adopted for one of the largest and most stylish shopping center the same city, covering an area of 200,000 square metres in the center of tourism and business.

Envisioned as the "Oasis of Shopping", Jungceylon integrates nature with its architecture in a tropical resort setting by introducing new shopping experiences, services and new lifestyle attractions, expressed across four natural zones: The Jungle, The Bay, The Botanica and The Garden.

From intelligent lighting systems to optimised cooling and renewable energy solutions, Jungceylon showcases how environmentally responsible practices can complement large-scale commercial success.
