To usher in the Year of the Horse, Hong Leong Holdings Limited (HLHL) continued with its annual tradition of giving out red packets and mandarin oranges to elderly residents the Corporate Adopt-A-Region initiatives by the Lions Befrienders Service Association (LBSA) Befriending Programme.

A group of 10 staff volunteers visited seniors residing at Blocks 121 and 123 Bukit Merah View, and personally distributed the festive gifts which represent property, good health and happiness. These visits also create opportunities for warm interaction and heartfelt conversations for both residents and volunteers.

HLHL has been a partner of the Lion’s Befrienders for more than 20 years where its employees regularly participate in monthly food distribution programmes across Singapore. Through these simple yet meaningful gestures, HLHL continues to nurture a spirit of care, compassion and generosity during the new year.
