For the third consecutive year, Millennium Airport Dubai has received the Green Key certification, for its continuous commitment in providing the highest standards of environmental responsibility and sustainability practices.

Millennium Airport Dubai General manager Mr Simon Moore said, “We are extremely proud in receiving this award for the third year. This achievement clearly shows our credibility, team effort and hard work in terms of energy conservation and waste management, sustainability initiatives to build a better world, and ongoing green educational program. Our hotel Environmental Management Committee is very keen in the implementation of Green Key policies and strategies towards a greener environment. We strongly believe that sustainability is getting more and more important and therefore we ensure eco-friendly initiatives are in place within the hotel and we share the proper information to our team members and valued guests.”

The Green Key certification is a leading eco-standard of excellence for the tourism industry. The eco-label represents a commitment by tourism businesses that their premises adhere to the strict criteria set by the global non-governmental organisation Foundation for Environmental Education and the Emirates Green Building Council.
