The Copthorne Tara team took a journey back to the Roaring ‘20s, with a ‘Great Gatsby’ themed annual staff party held on 31 January 2020.

Held at the hotel’s Shannon Suite, the party was organised to thank and recognise its employees for their hard work. The team did not disappoint, showing up in 1920s fashion and partying in style! It was a great opportunity for staff to celebrate their successes and contributions, while creating good memories and bonding with their colleagues.

That evening, the Annual Staff Awards were also presented, by General Manager Mr Ben Kim. Duty Manager Ms Valeria Minciu was honoured with the coveted ‘Employee of the Year’ for her hard work and contributions. Executive Housekeeper Ms Vilma Halstead and Engineering Supervisor Mr Gustavo Enguerra took home Manager and Assistant Manager/ Supervisor of the Year respectively, while Public Area Cleaner Ms Bilyana Achanovia and F&B Assistant Ms Zsusanna Farkas were Back-of-House and Front-of-House Stars of the Year respectively. F&B Assistant Mr Kareem Yehia was named ‘Rising Star’.
