Millennium Hotels and Resorts kickstarted the year 2020 with a new global strategic partnership with Lufthansa German Airlines.

After months of extensive negotiations, site inspections and operational finetuning, and with the support of hotel general managers and their teams, Millennium Knickerbocker Chicago and Grand Millennium Hongqiao Shanghai have been secured as the new crew hotels for Lufthansa in the two hub cities. The value of the two contracts is approximately £3.7 million over two years.

To celebrate the partnership, Lufthansa flight crews were given a warm reception at the two properties when they arrived in Chicago and Shanghai, with welcome drinks and confections.
