Hong Leong Holdings continued its yearly tradition of bringing well wishes of good fortune and health to seniors in the Bukit Merah area, during the Chinese New Year festivities. It was part of the company’s regular food distribution done with Lions Befrienders, a social service organisation that aims to provide friendship and care for seniors at risk of social isolation. Staff gave out mandarin oranges and red packets that signify good luck to 28 elderly families, leading to warm smiles all around.

Hong Leong Holdings is a long-term supporter of Lions Befrienders, with staff regularly volunteering through the Corporate Adopt-A-Region initiative, doing monthly food distributions and befriending visits to the seniors.
