A new casual dining concept has opened at Millennium Airport Dubai, by award-winning café and unconventional gourmet grocer, Jones the Grocer. The new concept, Jones Social, is located at the hotel lobby, and is an ode to food inspired by wanderlust, open-fire cooking and a desire to share good food in a vibrant, travel-inspired setting.

Jones Social features a licensed bar and dining room, with an open kitchen with a grand wood fired Spanish ‘Charcoa’ grill as its centrepiece, together with a cheese wall and charcuterie. Guests can relax in the informal lounge peppered with easy chairs and kilims (Persian tapestry-woven carpets and rugs). A mezzanine floor at the atrium serves as a meeting room or private dining area.

Offering all-day dining, diners can indulge at any time of day and escape to faraway destinations through food. In the morning, start off the day near the Sorrento peninsula in Italy with Capri Mornings (a bowl of tender gnocchi, crispy veal pancetta, wagyu coppa topped with a crispy egg), and traverse to the Philippines at lunchtime with Mindanao Bao (with spanner crab, lime and tamarind chilli dressing). In the evening, partake in open fire cooking through dishes such as The Fitzroy (double cooked Jack’s Creek beef short rib) or Coal Roasted Barramundi.
