Fun Day Out
For Staff

To promote staff well-being and bonding, Millennium Harbourview Xiamen held a fun sports day for over 40 staff. Instead of the usual sports activities, the hotel added an element of entertainment to the games.

Staff were divided into different groups, so that they could interact and bond with colleagues from other departments as they played the games. These entertaining games included ‘Penguin Walk’, where participants had to hold onto balloons under their arms and between their knees which leads to waddling like penguins, ‘Running Man’, where teams try to eliminate others by tearing off Velcro tags stuck to their backs, named after a catching game popularised by South Korean variety show of the same name, and ‘Rolling Wheel’, where teams try to get to the finish line the fastest while in a ‘giant wheel’.

It was a day of enjoyment and staff bonding as participants had fun cheering each other on with each entertaining game.

Participants also raced against other groups while waddling like penguins with balloons (left), and took down opposing teams by tearing of Velcro tags stuck to rivals’ backs (right).
