Embracing the true essence of Ramadan and core values of Islamic teachings, Millennium Taiba Hotel held its annual Iftar to support cancer victims as part of its partnership with Ahyaha Cancer Care Association (ACCA).
Held on 22 May 2019, the Iftar was attended by senior management of Millennium Taiba, members of ACCA, as well as 50 ACCA beneficiaries. The event comprised a recitation from the holy Quran and speeches from ACCA, including a first-person account story from a cancer survivor.
Mr Ibrahim Sindi, Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing at Millennium Taiba and Millennium Al Aqeeq said, it was a great honour to contribute towards the local community in Al Madinah by hosting the event.
“We encourage all individuals and corporates to join Ahyaha Cancer Care Association in their hard efforts and contribute towards their community and future generations,” said Mr Sindi. “We would like to take the opportunity during the holy month of Ramadan and ask Allah for a quick recovery to all patients whether they are suffering from cancer or other diseases.”
The ACCA is formed by a group of volunteers to provide support to those suffering from cancer.
