Over 40 staff and family members from Hong Leong Group of companies enjoyed a fun-filled day trip to Bekok Village in Johor, Malaysia, organised by Hong Leong Group Sports & Recreation Club (HLGSRC).
Bekok is well-known among nature lovers for being one of the entrances to the largest state park in the area, and also houses several aborigine settlements.
Staff got to take photos with the 3D “trick-art” paintings on the walls and streets, where the paintings create the illusion that the depicted objects are three-dimensional. They also visited the Hakka Cultural Centre, filled with items dating back to the 1950s to 1970s, a farm, and trying different traditional kuehs, from various dialect groups such as Hakka, Teochew, Cantonese, Hokkien and Hainanese.
