Located at the Sky Park of City Square Mall, the zero-energy Singapore Sustainability Academy is the nation’s first training and networking facility dedicated to sustainability advocacy and capacity building. It is also Singapore’s first major cross-sectoral partnership initiative in support of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Singapore’s climate action plan. The first in Singapore to have its construction materials verified by the Nature’s BarcodeTM system as coming from responsible sources, the building also features extensive solar technology and tracks real-time energy generation and consumption. It was accorded Green Mark Platinum Award.

At the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) Awards 2018, CDL was the first and only private sector property developer to be conferred the inaugural Built Environment Leadership Platinum Star Award. This pinnacle Award is accorded to organisations that held the Built Environment Leadership (Platinum) award for at least five years. It recognises their excellence and leadership in shaping a safe, high quality, sustainable and friendly built environment in Singapore.

City Square Mall, Singapore’s first green shopping mall, is conveniently located at the city fringe of Singapore and directly connected to Farrer Park MRT station. City Square Mall: BCA-MSF Universal Design Mark for Family-Friendly Business (Platinum) and Green Mark Pearl Prestige Award
City Square Mall was conferred the Platinum Award for the inaugural BCA-MSF Universal Design (UD) Mark for Family-Friendly Business, a new UD Mark category recognising businesses that incorporate user-friendly infrastructure and family-friendly service and processes in their facilities.
Since receiving its UD Award (Gold) in 2010, the highest-tier BCA UD recognition then, City Square Mall has continued to incorporate more family-friendly facilities and make its open spaces more conducive for community activities and family bonding.
It is integrated with an outdoor park, known as City Green complete with two distinct playgrounds, which provides an ideal venue for 3-Generation (3G) families to interact and bond. There are ramps at main entrances and tactile markings leading from the MRT station and City Green to the mall, which make it accessible to persons of all abilities.
For its outstanding tenant engagement efforts, City Square Mall also received the Green Mark Pearl Prestige Award, making CDL the only developer to receive this top-tier award for four consecutive years.
City Square Mall is the first and only mall to receive these two awards.
City Square Mall is one of the first malls to provide inclusive playgrounds. The outdoor play area at Level 1 was revamped to include a wheelchair-accessible merry-go-round for children of all abilities to play together.
Available at City Square Mall are spacious family and nursing rooms with private cubicles complete with electric sockets, hot water dispensers, sinks and diaper-changing stations for mothers or parents to attend to the needs of their young children in comfort and privacy.
Palais Renaissance: Green Mark Platinum Award
Palais Renaissance is one of CDL’s commercial properties with innovative smart features that help to conserve energy. These include a Chiller Plant Optimisation System that tracks performance and makes adjustments automatically to ensure optimal efficiency at all times; and carpark lighting motion sensors, which auto dims carpark lighting during low usage.
Located along Tampines Street 86, The Tapestry is just minutes to the Tampines MRT station (East West Line), Tampines West MRT station (Downtown Line) and Tampines bus interchange.
Republic Plaza is the flagship building of CDL, and at 66 storeys high, it is among the tallest skyscrapers in the country. The building is also a success story of two significant milestones of BCA's Green Mark scheme's journey – it was the first development to win a Green Mark Award under the Existing Buildings category, and the 100th development to garner the Green Mark Platinum Award.
The Tapestry: Green Mark Platinum Award
The development will be built using the innovative Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC) methodology. Some 2,500 building modules will be prefabricated offsite, and then assembled onsite, boosting productivity by up to 30%, compared to conventional construction methods.
Furthermore, The Tapestry's various energy-efficient features are estimated to save about 3.8 million kWh annually, equivalent to more than S$760,000.
Republic Plaza: Green Mark Platinum Award and Green Mark Pearl Award (Republic Plaza Tower 2)
A Grade A office building, Republic Plaza is CDL’s flagship located in the heart of the Central Business District. In 2017, CDL launched a green bond to finance Republic Plaza’s retrofit and upgrade projects.
Currently undergoing Asset Enhancement Initiative, Republic Plaza will be the first building to pilot the smart building applications as part of CDL’s IT joint venture with Distrii.
The Singapore EDITION located at Orchard Boulevard and Cuscaden Road is due to open in 2019.
The Singapore EDITION: Green Mark Platinum Award
The Singapore EDITION, a 204-room boutique hotel, is part of the Orchard Boulevard Mixed Development at Orchard Boulevard and Cuscaden Road. In addition to double, king, and queen guest rooms, bay suites and an exclusive presidential suite, the hotel’s design team has planned for a range of hospitality amenities such as restaurants, lounges, rooftop pool and meeting rooms.
Due to open in 2019, the development integrates sustainability and building performance throughout the design. This includes elements such as a Chiller Plant Optimisation System, use of shading devices to reduce overall heat gain, LED lighting, rainwater harvesting and automated irrigation.
