Extending
Safety And
Wellness
Beyond The
Workplace
CDL is extending its Workplace Safety and Health culture into the community through initiatives that promote safer and healthier living.
The developer’s employee volunteering arm, City Sunshine Club (CSC), recently organised a Safety for Life engagement for seniors at THK Active Ageing Centre @ Bedok.
Volunteers were joined by Mayor of Singapore’s South East District Mr Dinesh Vasu Desh, who is also the Minister of State for Culture, Community and Youth and Manpower, as well as CDL Group Chief Operating Officer Mr Kwek Eik Sheng and Group General Manager Mr Chia Ngiang Hong.
Together, they visited seniors in their homes and distributed food packs as part of the community outreach initiative.
Seniors also participated in a safety awareness session covering practical tips on home safety, heat resilience and personal well-being.
Launched in partnership with South East Community Development Council (CDC) under its Support a Block programme, this initiative adopts a holistic approach to senior well-being, covering home safety, health, anti-scam awareness and food safety.
