Millennium Hotels and Resorts has appointed Mr John Tan as Vice President, Human Resources, Southeast Asia, with effect from 15 June 2020.

John brings with him over 15 years of human resources (HR) and organisation development experience across various industries. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Hospitality Management from the University of Derby in England, and is no stranger to the hotel industry, having held HR and leadership training and leadership roles with Raffles Hotel Singapore and Marina Mandarin Singapore (now rebranded to Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay) earlier in his career.

Prior to joining MHR, John was the Chief Administrative Officer of TG Global Co., a global private diversified investment group operating in over 30 locations worldwide. He oversaw group HR and core corporate functions, as well as orchestrated the overall group strategic transformation agenda. He was previously Group HR Director of real estate firm Arcc Holdings and headed their management consultancy arm Arcc Talents.
