Last month, Millennium Biltmore Los Angeles welcomed over 500 participants for the China-California Business Forum 2019. Local participants and about 150 Chinese business delegates and trade officials from Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shandong, Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Shanghai, Chongqing, Sichuan, and Hubei attended the signature event organised by the China Provinces and US California Joint Working Group on Trade and Investment Cooperation.
Chinese Consul General in Los Angeles Mr Zhang Ping delivered the welcome speech, while Lieutenant Governor of California Ms Eleni Kounalakis shared her opening remarks at the forum’s opening ceremony.
The forum featured topics including clean technology, cross-border e-commerce, investment, manufacturing, and innovation, and is aimed at promoting and highlighting California’s trade and investment cooperation with participating Chinese provinces. More than 70 companies participated in the forum, which was held at Biltmore Bowl, the hotel's largest event venue.
