Mr Kieran Twomey joined Millennium Hotels and Resorts as its Group Chief Operating Officer on 17 June 2019.

Based in Singapore, Mr Twomey is responsible for driving operational strategies and performance of the Group’s portfolio of hotels to deliver top and bottom line growth targets. All Regional Heads/SVPs of Operations, Group VP of Digital Marketing, Loyalty & Distribution and Group VP of Information Technology will report directly to him.  

Mr Twomey comes with a notable track record of driving market share growth, profitability and owners’ returns. Following a 25-year successful career with Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts, his most recent position was Executive Vice President with Wanda Hotels and Resorts.

His 30 years of working experience spreads across key cities in Asia including Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Macau, Taipei, Bangkok, Manila and Jakarta. His hospitality industry experience includes various leadership roles in Regional/Corporate headquarters and property level with focus on establishing guests and employee engagement, growing the market share, profitability and owners return.

Irish in origin, Mr Twomey is proficient in English and German languages, with some Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia.
