Staff and guests from across the Hong Leong Group companies and subsidiaries recently participated in a 18-hole Golf Tournament at the Sembawang Country Club.

The competition saw much banter and friendly rivalry although a brief thunderstorm forced a temporary halt in the game. But that did not dampen the mood of the golfers. After the game, everyone enjoyed a sumptuous dinner, a lucky draw and novelty events – just to top off the day’s merriment.

The team led by Mr Roy Chiang (CBM) emerged as the winner of the tournament. Teams led by Mr Looi Eng Chai (CBM) and Mr Peter Schori (Tower Club) came in second and third places respectively.

Mr D Logendran (Building Materials Group) won the top prize of the lucky draw – a 3 Days 2 Nights Weekend stay in the Premier Club Room with breakfast. The prize was sponsored by Orchard Hotel.

The winner of the novelty event for the nearest pin went to Mr Lee Liang Huat (CBM) while Mr William Teng (TID) won the novelty event for the nearest line and both walked away with attractive City Square Mall vouchers.
