As part of Marriott International’s global commitment to develop and empower future women leaders, JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong hosted Asia University for Women (AUW) Hong Kong Support Foundation’s first benefit gala, “In Honor of Daughters”, on 13 June 2017.

The attendees were able to hear the inspiring stories of current and former AUW students, including Bhutanese student Choney Dema, who is studying public health and dreams to improve the public health of Bhutan.

The majority of AUW students, like Choney, are the first in their family to attend university and nearly all students are on full scholarships.
