Lee Richards, M&C Vice President, Operations, Singapore

Millennium Hotels and Resorts Group has promoted Mr Lee Richards to Vice President of Operations, Singapore, with the overall responsibility of delivering maximum business growth and profitability.

Richards joined the Millennium Hotels and Resorts Group in 2009; and had served as Cluster General Manager for Copthorne London Gatwick Hotel, Copthorne Effingham Park Hotel and Copthorne Slough-Windsor Hotel.

In March 2017, he was appointed as cluster general manager managing Grand Copthorne Waterfront, Orchard Hotel Singapore, M Hotel Singapore, Studio M Hotel, M Social Singapore as well as Copthorne Kings Hotel.

Cheong Hai Poh, General Manager, Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel

Mr Cheong Hai Poh has been appointed General Manager of Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore. 

In his new role, he will provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments in the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel while supporting of Millennium Hotels and Resorts Group's service culture, as well as maximising revenue and guest satisfaction.

With 28 years of international hospitality experience, Cheong has also held various positions such as board director of the Singapore Workforce Development Agency, and president of the Food and Beverage Managers’ Association.

Gregory Bong, Hotel Manager, Copthorne King’s Hotel

Mr Gregory Bong is the new Hotel Manager of Copthorne King’s Singapore. He joined M&C in 2006 as Reservation Sales Manager at Orchard Hotel, rose through the ranks to leading the Central Reservations team at the Singapore corporate office, was part of the opening team of Studio M Singapore, and was most recently Executive Assistant Manager at Millennium Resort Patong Phuket.  He reports to Mr Lee Richards, Cluster General Manager for Singapore.
