The Hail International Desert Rally was back again for its 2020 edition from 10 to 16 December, where rally cars, motorcycles and quads are raced through the Nafud desert for over 1,300km in two tracks, through the Hail region.

Millennium Hail was appointed the official hotel for the motorsport event for the third consecutive year, hosting international and regional contestants and teams. At the closing ceremony of the Hail International Rally 2020, the hotel was honoured by Governor of Hail Prince Abdul Aziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, with the award received by Millennium Hail General Manager Mr Bassem Yakout.
The Hail Rally is Saudi Arabia’s first car rallying event and was first held in 2006, with the 2020 edition being the final two rounds of the 2020 FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Bajas.
