Millennium Harbourview Xiamen was listed among the Top 10 hotels in Xiamen with operating competitiveness (厦门十大运营竞争力酒店), presented at the China MeadIn Hotel Competitiveness Index (MCI) Award Ceremony for 2019-2020.

Jointly hosted by the China Institute of Brand Strategic Planning and MeadIn Research Institute, the China MCI Awards honour the top hotels in each city. It is known as the ‘Forbes’ list for the hotel industry and one of the most influential awards.

The top hotels are selected based on hotel operations information, integrated with user reviews from platforms including Ctrip, Meituan (美团) and Dianping (大众点评), and media content from platforms such as Weibo and Wechat. The review process covers over 50 Chinese cities and more than 10,000 hotels.

General Manager Mr Simon Jin represented the hotel at the award ceremony to accept the award. Together with the award ceremony, MeadIn also released a general report and conducted a sharing session for hotel executives on operations and marketing.
