In November last year, food lovers gathered alongside chefs, sommeliers, restaurateurs and career gourmands at Orchard Hotel’s newly renovated Grand Ballroom for the T. Dining Best Restaurant 2019/20 Awards. The night of revelry saw guests let their hair down as they celebrated the cream of the crop in Singapore dining accompanied by a quality spread from Hua Ting and other restaurants.

The evening’s master of ceremony was foodie and radio DJ Yasminne Cheng.

Masterchef Lap Fai served up time-tested Cantonese favourites to the guests, such as the deliciously aromatic handmade fish paste noodle with Dong Xing grouper in fish broth, and the robustly flavourful baked Empress Chicken.  

The awards are organised by Singapore Tatler, and celebrate the top dining haunts in Singapore across categories including Best Service, Best New Restaurant and Top 20 Restaurants.
